Washington-Franklins Imperforates Collection. Comprehensive collection started by Henry H. Conland (collected 1918-43, buying from the post office) and continued by Henry J. Conland and Henry H. Conland, remounted on computer-designed pages by Richard C. Frajola, starts with Scott 343 with page of Mint N.H. plate blocks from the four positions, four arrow and center line blocks on the next page (several are Mint N.H.), four corner position blocks of four on the next page (couple Mint N.H.), four plate blocks from the star plates (two Mint N.H.), then another page with four corner and two arrow positions from the star plates, 2c and 4c similarly represented including a few Mint N.H. plate blocks, 3c and 5c with three of the pages including a couple Mint N.H. plate blocks, also imperforate coils, in pairs for 2c and 5c and strips of four of 2c with positions such as guide line and paste-up, next pages are Nos. 383 and 384 represented by blocks with different spacing, four star plate blocks, arrows and center line, corner blocks and letter "A" plate blocks from the four positions, 2c similarly represented, also imperforate coils in pairs and strips of four, next group is Nos. 408 and 409 with deep representation of different plate positions including 1c plate block with imprint and "A" at right and what may be a 2c "Pink Back", blocks of four of 1c and 2c Kansas City roulette, also imperforate coils in strips of four (horizontal and vertical of each), last group is Nos. 481, 482, 483 and 484 with four plate blocks of each plus some with other positions (mix of hinged with some Mint N.H.), overall fresh and Very Fine, a valuable and comprehensive collection, Scott value for the basic listed blocks, not including Kansas City roulettes, imperforate coils or "Pink Back" approximately $13,000.00 as hinged
