1909: The Postal Year in Review, Balance of the Haber Exhibit. Approximately 160 covers mounted on exhibit pages with detailed write-ups, the overall Haber collection and this exhibit portion are largely focused on the three 2c 1909 Commemoratives but also include lots of other covers franked with stamps from the Washington-Franklins and earlier issue to illustrate the full scope of the postal system during the year 1909, the exhibit includes all the various uses and types of mail that were in existence during the year, just a few highlights include early uses, lots of illustrated, 1c-2c Bluish and a number of 2c Lincoln Bluish including a foreign destination, lots of other foreign destinations and nine or so foreign mixed frankings, a No. 367 identified as a Feb. 9 pre-date but with P.F. certificate declining opinion on whether it is Feb. 9 or Feb. 19, stamp collars, large complete Macy's 1909 catalogue with 11c in postage, Expo mail, of course plenty of registered and others, some faults to be expected but overall the condition is quite good and the presentation is excellent, a fascinating and colorful exhibit balance from a Large Gold Medal winning collection, several certificates accompany, see our website PDF for a complete scan

1909: The Postal Year in Review, Balance of the Haber Non- Exhibit Covers. Ten binders with well more than 800 covers, the overall Haber collection and this balance of covers are largely focused on the three 2c 1909 Commemoratives but also include lots of other covers franked with stamps from the Washington-Franklins and earlier issue to illustrate the full scope of the postal system during the year 1909, these are the covers that did not make it into the exhibit and are generally organized by date for the first two binders and then by theme for the others, some highlights include 1c-2c Bluish and a number of 2c Lincoln Bluish, a great many illustrated, lots of Exposition cachets and illustrated, including a scarce Seattle Wash. Alaska-Yukon Columbia repeater (perhaps fewer than ten known), illustrated postcards, Special Delivery covers both with and without Special Delivery stamps, wide range of registered with multi-stamp frankings including many foreign destinations, bisects, territorial, three full binders of foreign mail with over 200 covers including mixed U.S.-foreign frankings and some better destinations, mixed condition with some Very Fine and some with faults, overall an extensive and worthwhile balance, while some of these are $10.00 covers, many others had retail prices in the low hundreds, see our website PDF for a complete scan

2c Lincoln, Exhibit (367-369). More than 130 covers on exhibit pages in a binder, each of the three Lincoln issues are well represented including the No. 369 Bluish Paper with at least 6 covers, including one on a postcard, interesting uses including pneumatic tube cover with Faifax Mail System N.Y. imprint, lots of mixed frankings with stamps from 1902 thru early Washington-Franklins and a couple Merry Widow Special Delivery covers (E7), one with Registration stamp F1, a bisected stamp, a few with perfins, loads of illustrated and advertising designs, a stamp collar, etc., overall nice condition with some of the typical flaws to be found, Very Fine and attractive exhibit, Scott value just for the Bluish Paper and imperforate covers, and not counting the more than 100 No. 367 covers, is about $3,000.00

1909 Alaska-Yukon Exhibition and Hudson-Fulton Celebration, Balance. One binder of approximately 50 picture postcards sent through the mails, these are a mix of the two events, faults to be found, Fine-Very Fine, also two small binders of unused Hudson-Fulton picture postcards and one large art-size binder of mounted Hudson-Fulton unused picture postcards, which is beautifully done, Very Fine appearance
