Positions 21/31R1L, two singles originally forming a vertical pair, 21R recut once at top, twice at bottom, 31R recut once at top and bottom, large to huge margins including left straddle-pane margin and centerline, used with 3c Dull Red, Ty. II (11A), tied by "24" in circle" and also by "1/-" due handstamp, neat strike of "Cleveland O. Jun. 20" circular datestamp on 1854 blue folded letter to Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England, "21" debit handstamp, Liverpool and receiving backstamps, Position 21R light crease, Very Fine appearance, very unusual with the stamps tied only by the rate markings, with note on back that a previous owner severed the pair and offered the top stamp to him as an unused single
