1c Blue, Ty. II-IIIa-II (7-8A-7). Positions 13-15L1E, center stamp has slight break in top outer line, large margins to clear, beautiful Robin's Egg Blue shade of Plate 1 Early, cancelled by red grids, matching "Tuscumbia Ala. Jul. 29" circular datestamp on 1851 folded letter to New Orleans, right stamp has tiny corner crease, waterstains around strip indicate it has been lifted and replaced, still Very Fine, a scarce 1c 1851 combination strip from Plate 1 Early on a first-month cover, signed Ashbrook, ex Gibson
