II (11A), large margins to just touched, bright shade, tied by "Montgomery Ala. 5 11 May" (1852) integral-rate circular datestamp, partly-clear strike of Montgomery "WAY" straightline handstamp on printed circular from New Orleans to Baltimore, entered mails at Montgomery as a way letter, file fold at right with slight split at top, Very Fine, extremely scarce prepaid way letter with 1851 Issue, a printed circular should have qualified for 1c rate, but this may also have had a letter attached which is no longer present, signed Ashbrook
