EXTREMELY FINE. AN EXTREMELY RARE SOUND FOUR-MARGIN EXAMPLE OF THE 1851 ONE-CENT TYPE II WITH PLATE THREE IMPRINT AND "NO." PORTION OF THE PLATE NUMBER.

Only one Plate 3 example is known showing part of the "3" of the plate number (see Wagshal Sale Part 2, lot 993).
