Position 51L2, huge margins all around including parts of adjoining stamps at top and bottom and "E ENGRAVERS Phila, New York, Bos" portion of imprint at left, bold strikes of Jul. 4 circular datestampEXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL USED EXAMPLE OF THE 1851 ONE-CENT TYPE II, WITH A SIGNIFICANT PORTION OF THE LEFT IMPRINT.
Imprint examples from Plate 2 are scarce, especially with such huge margins on other sides.
