Positions 10/20R1L, vertical pair, top stamp recut twice at bottom, bottom stamp recut once at top and bottom, full to huge margins, especially on the top stamp with large portion of adjoining stamp at left, tied by by two strikes of "Terre Haute Ind. Sep. 28" (1857) circular datestamp on 3c Red on White Nesbitt entire (U9) to U.S.S. Constellation at Spezzia, Italy, "New York 12 Oct. 3" debit datestamp also ties stamps, endorsed "Via Liverpool Steamer" at bottom, ms. due rate and seven different transit and arrival handstamps on front and back, also red "Retrodato" straightline handstamp on back, light crease between the stamps, minor cover corner nicks, still Very Fine, attractive usage, ex Emerson
