Positions 47-48R1L, left stamp recut once at top and twice at bottom, right stamp recut once at top, large even margins all around, unusually deep rich color and proof-like impression, tied by "New Orleans La. May 27" circular datestamp on blue 1855 folded printed circular to Feldkirch, Vorarlberg, Austria, endorsed "p first steamer, Printed Circular", also with large ms. "3", receiving backstamp, Very Fine and choice, a pretty cover to a scarce destination
