EXTREMELY FINE GEM. THIS SUPERB MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 2-CENT PANAMA-PACIFIC ISSUE HAS BEEN GRADED XF-SUPERB 95 BY P.S.E. -- THIS IS THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED TO DATE AND THE ONLY EXAMPLE TO ACHIEVE THIS GRADE.

In our opinion the Carmine Lake shade is almost as scarce as the Lake, Scott 398b. This is only the fourth copy we have offered since keeping computerized records, and this is the second in Mint N.H. condition.

With 2007 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $5,300.00). This is the highest grade awarded to date and the only example to achieve this grade. Only one other Mint N.H. copy has been graded, at an 80.
