3c Dull Red, Ty. III (26). Tied by "Adamstown B. & O. R.R. Jan. 15, 1861" route agent's oval datestamp on cover to Frederick Md., docketing at left, stamp with couple minor perf flaws, otherwise Fine, a very scarce example of this route agent handstamp on a 3c 1857 stamp, the Beals collection had three of this handstamp but all on 3c 1861 stamps, note on back indicates one of only three recorded
