Aug 10" straightline handstamp with date in manuscript, on yellow cover to Hardensburg Ky., original contents datelined "Cloverport 8th Aug. '60", stamp defective and some small mended cover faults, still an Extremely Fine strike, an exceptionally rare example of a green straightline canceling an 1851-57 stamp, the only known green straightline of the period, this example is the basis for the tracing in Simpson-Alexander where it is rated Rarity 10, or unique, with 1984 P.F. certificate, illustrated in Chronicle 86, p. 83
