3c Rose, Ty. II (25A). Tied by Three-Leaf Clover fancy cancel, matching "Cloverport Ky. 13 Nov." woodcut rimless datestamp with date in manuscript on cover to New Orleans, minor backflap tear, Very Fine, a beautiful strike of this "rebus-like" fancy cancel on the much scarcer Ty. II stamp with recut inner lines, this full cover is illustrated in Simpson-Alexander on p. 132 and in Chronicle no. 86, p. 83, where it is described as unique, Cloverport is known for a variety of fancy townmarks during the 1851-57 period, this is the only example we have seen that incorporates the clover
