Large margins all around including part of adjoining stamp at bottom, cancelled by red grid with matching red "STEAM/BOAT" two-line handstamp on front only to Chehocton (Hancock) N.Y., sender's directive "By Erie Railroad", stamp also tied by perfect strike of green "Hancock N.Y. 22 Aug." circular datestamp, matching "5" handstamp and manuscript "ford" (forwarded), it is unclear where this was redirected to, Very Fine, unusual combination of markings and forwarded use, P.F. certificates 44700 and 98898 no longer accompany
