Hawaii, 1866, 5c Blue (32). Tied by Honolulu 7-bar open grid, used with U.S. 3c Rose (65), both stamps tied by San Francisco 6-bar open grid with duplex "San Francisco Cal. Aug. 4" circular datestamp on small cover originating in Lahaina and addressed to Lucy Tillman in San Francisco, large red "Honolulu U.S. Postage Paid Jul. 11" circular datestamp (M-H 242.03), well-struck "Lahaina P.O. Hawaiian-Islands Jul. 8" (ca. 1867) origin datestamp on back (M-H 242.13), 5c barely affected from placement over edge of coverVERY FINE APPEARANCE.
