Grill, unusually choice centering with wide margins, rich color in beautiful pastel shade, lightly struck cork cancel and part of red German transit marking, many grill points showing clearlyEXTREMELY FINE. ONE OF THE FINEST EXAMPLES OF THE 1870 12-CENT NATIONAL BANK NOTE COMPANY GRILLED ISSUE. VERY FEW ARE CANCELLED IN RED.
