"United States Stamp" and "Three Cents" in Lathework Oval with "C" in Center, Eagle Above, Die Essays (Old Brazer 56E-G). Three items, incl. virtually full die in Scarlet on Ivory paper, 65 x 73mm (pencil note on back "5 or 6 known"), dies on bond in Dark Red Brown and Olive Gray (55 x 63mm and 37 x 53mm respectively), Very Fine, some students believe this essay was for Revenue stamps but it is not listed in Turner, scarce and attractive lot
