Huge margins all around, tied by red "POSTAGE PAID" in oval cancel (Ty. 762) on piece, barest trace of toning not mentioned on certificateEXTREMELY FINE GEM EXAMPLE OF THE 1859 2-CENT BLUE NUMERAL ISSUE CANCELLED BY THE RED "POSTAGE PAID" IN OVAL. ONE OF THE FINEST EXTANT.
Ex Middendorf and Ostheimer. With 2007 P.F. certificate noting that this is genuine but declining opinion as to the plating.
