Large to huge margins with such wide margins on two sides that we wonder whether this could be a corner margin single, tied by neat strike of grid, "St. John's Newfoundland Paid JU 7, 1863" rimless circular datestamp on cover to Harbor Grace, receiving backstamp, missing part of bottom flap, opened up and extensively restored, stamp with two small wrinklesVERY FINE APEARANCE. THIS IS REPORTED TO BE THE ONLY RECORDED USE OF THE FIVE-PENCE CHOCOLATE BROWN USED INTERNALLY TO PAY THE DOUBLE RATE.
