Wells, Fargo & Co. Pony Express, 10c Brown (143L7). Margins slightly in, minor toning, tied by "Wells, Fargo & Co. Sac. Messenger Oct. 27" blue oval datestamp on 3c Pink entire (U35) to Virginia City, back shows some evidence of paste-up, horizontal fold clear of stamps, slightly reduced and small tear at right, otherwise Fine, the 10c Brown is rarer than the 25c Blue by a ratio of 3:1, the use of the Sacramento Messenger oval on a Virginia City Pony Express cover is extremely unusual, with 1976 P.F. certificate
