7c Vermilion (149). Mint N.H., vivid color and sharp impression on bright paper, remarkably choice centeringEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A RARE MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 7-CENT 1870 NATIONAL BANK NOTE ISSUE. AN EXTREMELY DIFFICULT STAMP TO FIND IN SUCH SUPERB CONDITION.
A review of our computerized records for the past 14 years found that we have only offered three other Mint N.H. examples, including one graded Fine only. The P.S.E. has not yet certified a single Mint N.H. example of Scott 149. This stamp comes from a block broken years ago.
