2c Red Brown, Grill (135). I. Grill, clearly-defined with twelve horizontal rows, original gum, lightly hinged, deep rich color, perfectly centered with wide marginsEXTREMELY FINE EXAMPLE OF THE 1870 2-CENT NATIONAL BANK NOTE COMPANY GRILLED ISSUE. ESPECIALLY DESIRABLE WITH THE STRONGER I GRILL.
This is only the second unused example of the 2c with an I Grill that we have offered since we started keeping track of the different National grill types, approximately three years ago.
With 1999 P.F. certificate which does not specify the grill type.
