Sale 923, Lot 3709, Collections and AccumulationsExtensive Unused Collection, 1847-1934. Approximately 400 different on pages, only one stamp is obviously used (5c Red Brown No. 1), others are unused with a relatively few exceptions where stamps have faint hidden or removed cancellations, includes five different 1857, nine different 1861-66, 1869 to 12c plus 1c Re-issue No. 123, Large Bank Notes virtually complete from 1870 Ungrilled to1888, 1890 complete, 1894 Bureau to 50c plus $2.00 and $5.00, 1895 complete less $1.00 Ty. II, also 4c Imperf pair, Washington-Franklins nearly complete including many coil singles, better Nos. include 341-342, 357-358, 419, 438, 445, 461, 476, 479, 523 and 545-4546, 1922-25 complete to $5.00, commemoratives include Pan-American, Louisiana Purchase, 1909 complete, Panama-Pacific perf 12 and 10 complete and a White Plains souvenir sheet, the majority of the 19th Century issues are unused (no gum) and there is a scattering of 20th Century also without gum, some of those with original gum have gum problems (h.r., glazing, disturbances) and some faults are to be expected, overall largely Fine-Very Fine, careful inspection recommended
