30c Orange Red (439). Top plate no. 6917 block of six, bottom stamps Mint N.H., radiant color, choice centering, few extraneous blue ink marks affect top left and top right stamps, few sensibly reinforced perf separations at topVERY FINE APPEARANCE. A RARE PLATE BLOCK OF THE 30-CENT 1914 ISSUE.
We have only offered one other plate block since keeping computerized records. That example, in Mint N.H. condition and with wide top, realized $25,000 hammer in our Sale 904.
