Position 50R1 with huge right sheet margin showing tiny trace of imprint at the extreme outer edge, large margins all around, bright color, used on 3c Red Nesbitt entire (U10) to J. W. Denver at Washington D.C., affixed over embossed stamp and tied by "Nevada City Cal. 10 Paid Mar. 17, 1856" integral-rate circular datestamp (scarce type), some residue of gum smears around stamp, still Extremely Fine, very unusual, Ashbrook notes on back, with 1981 P.F. certificate
