CANAL ZONE, 1924, 1c Dark Green, 2c Carmine, Booklet Panes of Six, Specimen Ovpt. (68S var, 69S var). Each consists of one pane with interleaving and red "Specimen" ovpt., choice centering, covers torn and tucked in to display the bottom row stamps, fresh and Very Fine, the basic booklet is unlisted in Scott, the covers were reportedly torn by the American Bank Note Co. to display the stamps underneath, and the booklets never contained more than one pane apiece
