Cancelled by "Saugatuck Michigan Nov. 10, 1886" circular datestamp and star to pre-printed address for the Drainage and Water Supply Commission at City Hall in Chicago Ill., back of card with printed Bottle Float form which was filled in by the sender, Very Fine, a most unusual item, this was placed in a bottle in Chicago and floated in Lake Michigan as a means of tracking water movement, this was found just south of Kalamazoo Harbor and mailed back to the water commission
