Plate 4, original gum, barest trace of hinging, wide break in line at top and distinct break at bottom, beautiful deep shade and detailed impression on bright fresh paperEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE PERFORATED 1857 ONE-CENT TYPE III ISSUE. VERY FEW EXIST IN ANY TYPE OF ACCEPTABLE ORIGINAL-GUM CONDITION.
