EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB USED EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT 1847 ISSUE WITH THE DOUBLE TRANSFER TYPE B.

In addition to the doubling of the top and bottom framelines, this stamp also shows a very prominent plate bruise in the margin at bottom left.
