Mint N.H., enormous top sheet selvage with two plate letters, proof-like impression in intense Dark Blue shade on bright fresh paper, long full perfs all aroundEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SPECTACULAR EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT LOUISIANA PURCHASE ISSUE. RARELY FOUND IN THIS SUPERB MINT NEVER-HINGED CONDITION.
With 2003 P.F. certificate (copy) and 2005 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $1,900.00), only six 5c Louisiana Purchase stamps have been graded XF-Superb 95 (the one stamp with a higher grade, Superb 98, was subsequently damaged)
