5c Brown Orange, Double Transfer Ty. C (1-C). The rare Type C Double Transfer from an unknown position on a late state of the plate, three large margins, slightly in at top, lightly cancelled, bright shade from late printing, Fine, with 1994 P.F. certificate identifying shade as "Red Brown, Scott 1", but in our opinion the Type C Double Transfer is always found in the Brown Orange (or Orange Brown) shade, Scott Retail for the transfer variety
