Ben Allston, docketing confirming Feb. 1865 usage, other side is the first use with "Official Business. Inspector General's Office, Trans-Mississippi Department." semi-official imprint, addressed to Brig. Gen. James E. Slaughter, District of Texas in Houston without postmarks, green sealing wax inside and top flap replaced, still Very Fine
