Sale 1291, Lot 671, Confederate General Issues, cont. (6-13)2c Brown Red (8). Horizontal block of eight and pair, large margins almost all around, tied by manuscript cross strokes, matching "Wahalok Sept. 14th" Mississippi manuscript postmark on brown legal-size cover to Brig. Gen. J.V. Harris at Columbus Miss., left hand vertical pair with ink stain and faults, ink erosion affects most other stamps, the cover is without one backflap and has been reduced all around (flaps held in place), nonetheless an extremely rare and presentable cover, bearing one of the largest multiples of the 2c Engraved, ex Antrim, Nielsen and Keeling, illustrated in Brian Green's The Confederate States Two-Cent Red Jack Intaglio Stamp, with 1997 P.S.E. certificate
