Sale 1291, Lot 656, Confederate General Issues (1-5)10c Rose (5). Three large margins, clear at top, tied by well-struck "Richmond Va. Jun. 1, 1862" circular datestamp on "Confederate States of America Treasurer's Office." semi-official imprint cover to Corinth Miss., cover is reduced and refolded with most of top flap and part of one side flap replaced, also couple edge tears, still Very Fine appearance, illustrated in Confederate Philatelist (Jan.-Feb. 1993) where it was described as a new find, accompanied by extensive biographical information on the soldier addressed, ex Felton, with 1999 C.S.A. certificate
