Oct. 28" postmark on Emory & Henry College blue illustrated cameo corner card cover to Winchester Va., military unit designation at left for "Comp D, 1st Regt. Va. Cavalry, Gen. (Fitzhugh) Lee's Brigade", stamp with a small gum spot at top, missing backflap, still Very Fine, Company D was the "Clark Cavalry", the regiment fought in over 200 battles and skirmishes, this was sent by A.
