Miccosukee Fla. Sep. 24 (1861). Circular datestamp with date in manuscript, large "PAID" straightline with tiny "5" rate on obsolete 3c Red on White Nesbitt entire (U9) with embossed stamp crossed out, addressed to Tallahassee Fla., Very Fine and extremely rare, this is the only recorded example of this handstamped Paid marking, ex Dr. Briggs and illustrated in his book on p. 156, illustrated in C.S.A. Catalog where priced at $1,000.00
