Fantastic strike of rimless datestamp with manuscript "18-3/4" rate on 1833 folded letter to Tallahassee, the town collector states "Our town has been in part recently destroyed by fire, and the records and papers of the County of Franklin were consumed..." with a request to redo formal bonds, fresh and Very Fine, perhaps two or three examples are recorded, ex Jarrett, ASCC value $3,500.00
