24c Carmine Rose & Blue, 1918 Air Post (C3). Tied by "Air Mail Service Wash. N.Y. Phila. Phila May 18, 1918" datestamp on cover to New York City, backstamped with "Offered at Address/ May 18 at 332 M/ Cause of Non-Delivery Closed", indicating a failed attempt at delivery (May 18 was a Saturday), blue crayon "36176" at top, Very Fine, one of only a handful of early C3 flown covers from Philadelphia listed in Power Search (others are May 14 and two May 15)
