Folded letter datelined "Fernandina April 30th 1820" and addressed to Charleston, "St. Marys (Georgia) 2 May" manuscript postmark with "17" cents for delivery to Charleston, Very Fine and scarce use, St. Mary's handled mail from East Florida during this period when there was no formal postal system between Spanish Florida and the United States
