Mint N.H. with top right corner plate no. 167109 selvage, mathematically perfect centering, Extremely Fine Gem, an exceptional and perfect example of the popular 1959 Hunting Permit issue, with 2006 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100; SMQ $1,000.00), this is the highest grade awarded and it is equaled by only six others, the Labrador retriever depicted on this issue was named King Buck and was a national champion dog, the design was executed by Maynard Reece, this is the only Duck Stamp issue to depict a dog as its central theme and as such it has alwasy been one of the most popular issues
