1c-90c 1861-66 Issue, Small Die Proofs on Wove (63P2/78P2). Set of eight proofs, representing the complete values issued in 1861, the 3c is the First Design (56P2), expertly removed from card backing of a Roosevelt presentation album without faults, fresh and Very Fine set, only approximately 85 albums were produced, two different pages of the 1861 issue were made, labeled "First 1861" and "Final 1861", but most of the proofs on the two pages are indistinguishable from each other, the 3c First Design in this set (along with the 12c First Design) is easily distinguishable
