Tropicalized original gum, bright color, choice centering, faint corner crease at top left not noted on certificateEXTREMELY FINE APPEARANCE. THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST OF ALL "VICTORY" OVERPRINTS. ONLY 36 WERE PRODUCED, AND APPROXIMATELY 14 ARE KNOWN UNUSED.
The census compiled by Geoffrey Brewster and published in Possessions lists 25 known genuine examples. Of these, 14 are unused and eleven are used (six of which are on covers).
