5c Red Brown (1). Large margins to full, rich color, early or strong intermediate impression, tied by red grid cancel with contrasting blue "Buffalo N.Y. May 12" (1848) fancy double-oval datestamp on light green part-printed notice to Le Roy N.Y., stamp with faint horizontal crease at top, Very Fine appearance, a pretty cover, unusual combination of red cancel and blue town marking, ex Sampson, Lehman and Mirsky, with clear 1999 P.F. certificate
