2c Hudson-Fulton, Wash Drawing of Frame on Artist's Cardboard (372-E2). 198 x 149mm pencil drawing almost exactly matching adopted design but with "Centenary" on the essay instead of "Celebration", small mounting adherences on back corners and inconsequential small stain at bottom

VERY FINE. THIS IS THE UNIQUE WASH DRAWING OF THE FRAME FOR THE 1909 HUDSON-FULTON ISSUE.

Like the vignette, the frame for the Hudson-Fulton issue was designed by Marcus W. Baldwin.
