Worcester Mass. (abrasives manufacturer) corner card cover to North Adams Mass., manuscript "Special Delivery" written below the stamps, RPO and North Adams backstamps, Very Fine, effective July 1, 1907, mail with 10c of ordinary stamps of any denomination, with the words "Special Delivery" or the equivalent could be accepted for the same service as afforded by a 10c Special Delivery stamp, this is reported by Brody to be the earliest recorded use of this method of securing the service with non-Special Delivery stamps
