Large margins to in, tied by large "PAID" handstamp, matching "Louisville & St. Louis Mail Route, Jun. 26" circular datestamp on cover to St. Louis Mo., sender's directive "ps. A. L. Shotwell" which was a sidewheel steamer renowned for its speed, Very Fine, this is the only reported example of this mail route marking, illustrated and described in Chronicle 226, May 2010, p. 116
