Large margins to ample, faintly cancelled, tiny thins, hinged on folded cover to Toronto, Canada, small bit of manuscript on cover extends as offset on back of stamp, effectively tying it, red "New-York Sep. 22" (1848) circular datestamp, Queenston transit, manuscript "4-1/2" pence due marking, receiving backstamp, Very Fine appearance, with 2021 and 2022 P.F. certificates, the former for the stamp off cover, the latter for the stamp on the original cover
