10c Rose (5). Large to ample margins, tied by bold strike of "Richmond Va. Jul. 1, 1862" First Day of Universal 10c Rate circular datestamp on buff cover to Laurens C.H. S.C., endorsed at top "Private J.F. Denton, Chat Georgia", slightly reduced at left and faint waterstain at right, stamp with some light toning in margins, still Very Fine and rare First Day of 10c rate use of the 10c Rose Lithograph, the only other listed in Power Search is the Southern Express cover dated Jul. 1, 1862, ex Fisher, with 2021 P.F. certificate
