Vertical pair, used with 3c Green (158), tied by partly clear strikes of Havana N.Y. duplex cancels on registered Bethesda Sanitarium illustrated cover to Mecklenburg N.Y., wonderfully detailed design of the building with "Cole Magnetic Springs" pavilion at right, imprint at top mostly covered by stamps but identifiable, 3c stamp with some minor toned perfs, still Extremely Fine, Bethesda Sanitarium was a popular water-cure destination, the building depicted on this cover burned to the ground in July 1880
