Horizontal strips of four and five, block of six and single, the block with interpane margin with guideline at left, one strip with selvage at right, tied by red grid cancels, matching “New-York Br. Pkt. Jun. 12” (1860) circular datestamp on folded letter to Shanghai, China, red "Forwarded by Goodhue & Co. New York" oval backstamp, magenta manuscript "“1.42" credit, manuscript "4" British Colonial credit, red London Paid datestamp (Jun. 25), Hong Kong (Aug. 17) backstamp, stamps with few small flaws including block affected by horizontal file fold, missing an additional stamp at upper left, still Very Fine and extremely unusual franking with $1.60 in postage, signed Ashbrook and illustrated in the Ashbrook file archives at The Philatelic Foundation's website, with 1976 P.F. certificate
